Best Buy says Early Black Friday deals and Doorbusters start Friday, November 6, with new deals every Friday, followed by ten days of Black Friday deals starting Thursday, November 19. What it has not said is what time any of these go live.

Cyber Monday usually means the Monday after Thanksgiving (November 30 this year), but Best Buy's calendar lists Cyber Week as December 1-6 and does not mention November 29-30. Check the official page closer to the date.

Start times not announced: converting to Korea time

Best Buy is headquartered in Minnesota and uses Central Time (CT); its 2025 releases gave end times such as "11:59 p.m. CT on Nov. 29." Neither 2025 nor 2026 official materials state what time events start. After U.S. daylight saving time ends on November 1:

Best Buy's story

Best Buy began in 1966 as Sound of Music, an audio store Richard (Dick) Schulze opened in St. Paul, Minnesota. On June 14, 1981, a tornado hit the Roseville store; six days later the company held a "Tornado Sale" in the parking lot. Best Buy's own blog says the sale's success led to the new name, Best Buy, two years later. Today it runs 1,068 stores (926 in the U.S., 142 in Canada) with about 82,000 employees, and reported fiscal 2026 revenue of $41.69 billion. Headquarters are in Richfield, Minnesota.

Membership: My Best Buy Plus is $29.99 a year and Total $199.99 a year, plus tax, per BestBuy.com. Members earn double rewards Nov 19-Dec 6. Early access is not mentioned.
Holiday Price Match Guarantee: if the price of a product sold by Best Buy drops during the holiday season, Best Buy will match it; marketplace items are excluded.
Returns: purchases from Oct 30 to Dec 31 can be returned until Jan 15, 2027 (Jan 31 for Plus and Total members).

Buying from Korea

BestBuy.com's International Orders help page says it ships only to the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., so there is no direct shipping to Korea; you need a U.S. address or in-store pickup. The page explains how to enter a billing address when using an international card, and notes that iTunes gift cards cannot be bought with international cards. Check the latest terms before paying.

Chochim checkpoint BestBuy.com says "Black Friday is November 27," but Doorbusters begin eight days earlier on November 19. Waiting for the 27th can mean missing popular items. Also, an October time conversion is off by an hour after DST ends on November 1.
