Walmart Black Friday 2026: Nov 12, 23 and 30 at 12:01 a.m. ET, 2:01 p.m. in Korea
Written as of October 29, 2026. Dates and times follow Walmart's official press release of October 26. Korea times are calculated from Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5), which applies after U.S. daylight saving time ends on November 1. Purchase limits and whether non-U.S. cards or addresses work are not in the release, so they are not covered here.
Walmart is again splitting its Black Friday season into three events. Last year Walmart+ early access opened at 7 p.m. ET; this year the release says all three events start on Walmart.com at 12:01 a.m. ET. That is 2:01 p.m. the same day in Korea.
Dates and Korea time
| Event | Online start (ET) | Korea time | Stores |
|---|---|---|---|
| Early Black Friday (Nov 12-15) | Nov 12, 12:01 a.m. | Nov 12 (Thu) 14:01 | 6 a.m. local time |
| Black Friday (Nov 23-29) | Nov 23, 12:01 a.m. | Nov 23 (Mon) 14:01 | Nov 27, 6 a.m. local time |
| Cyber Monday (Nov 30-Dec 2) | Nov 30, 12:01 a.m. | Nov 30 (Mon) 14:01 | Not mentioned in the release |
For Early Black Friday the release only says stores open "at 6 a.m. local time" without a separate date. The Black Friday in-store event starts November 27 (Fri) at 6 a.m.: 8 p.m. in Korea for an Eastern store, 11 p.m. for a Pacific store.
Walmart+ early access
- Hot Deal drops: For both Early Black Friday and Black Friday, Walmart+ members get access at 12:01 a.m. ET, when the event starts.
- Open to everyone: Remaining hot Deal drop items open to all customers at 12:01 a.m. ET the next day: 2:01 p.m. in Korea on November 13 and November 24.
- Online-only deals: During both events, select online-only deals are reserved for Walmart+ members for the first 24 hours, while supplies last.
- The release does not mention member early access for Cyber Monday.
12:01 or 12:00?
The release says 12:01 a.m. ET, while the Walmart.com deals page says "Nov. 12 at 12am ET". It is only a minute, but popular items can go in that window, so be on the page before 2 p.m. Korea time and refresh until 2:01 p.m.
Time zones: DST ends November 1
U.S. daylight saving time ends on November 1. All three events come after that, so Eastern time is 14 hours behind Korea. Using last year's table or an October conversion will put you off by an hour. See the DST guide.
Being ready on the minute
- Sign in to Walmart and save your shipping address and payment method in advance.
- Add the items you want to a list so you can go straight to the cart at start time.
- Phone clocks can drift by hundreds of milliseconds, so time your click against server time.
