About Chochim

Chochim (초침, Korean for "second hand") is a server time site for people getting ready for moments that open "on the hour": concert ticketing, train ticket booking and course registration.

Bookings open on the ticketing site's server clock, not your phone's. Those two clocks are often hundreds of milliseconds apart. Chochim measures that gap to 1/1000 of a second and shows you what time it is by the server.

What Chochim does

• Server time: shows the server time of major Korean ticketing sites such as Interpark, YES24, Melon Ticket, Ticketlink and Korail, plus any site you enter, to the millisecond. The method is explained in What is server time?
• Opening countdown: enter the opening time and it counts down by the server clock.
• Reaction time game: measure your reaction time in a pixel-art Western duel and see where you rank among animals and jobs.
• Trending searches: shows keywords drawing attention right now, using public data from Google Trends.
• Guides: practical articles on ticketing, holiday train tickets and reaction time, in seven languages for visitors and foreign residents in Korea.

Our principles

• We don't make macros. Chochim only tells you the time; a person does the clicking. Using it together with automation tools is prohibited.
• We don't collect personal information. There are no accounts, and your settings and game records stay in your browser.
• It's free. We cover running costs with the ads shown on the page.

Server times shown are reference information that may be off depending on network conditions and do not guarantee a booking.
