Exam-day rules
- No electronics: phones, smartwatches, smart glasses, tablets and earphones can't be brought into the exam room, and having one counts as cheating. Hand them in at the entrance.
- Self-scoring sheet: from this year, a scoring sheet is printed on the back of the admission ticket. You may fill it in during the exam, but writing after the end signal counts as cheating.
- Pens: you may bring your own black computer-marking pen if it meets the requirements; check KICE's guidance for details.
Don't apply on the last day
Regular-admission applications run between January 4 and 7, 2027, for at least three days per university. Each university sets its own closing date and time. Application sites often slow down near the deadline, so once you've chosen, finish applying and paying by the day before. Save the receipt with your application number.
Keep your admission ticket
After the exam, many shows, cinemas, travel companies and restaurants offer discounts to test-takers who show their admission ticket. Eligibility, dates and discounts vary by business and change every year, so check each company's official notice first. The ticket shows your name and exam number, so cover them before posting photos online.
Planning to book after the exam?
