Nike SNKRS release times and Nike.com drop tips: getting ready for 10 a.m. Draws and Lines
Accurate as of October 20, 2026. Times and release methods can vary by product, so always check the schedule shown in the SNKRS app or on the product page before you enter.
Nike limited releases are as competitive as concert tickets. First-timers usually get stuck on the same questions: what time does it open, is it first-come or a raffle, and why won't my payment go through? Here is the timing, the release methods and the prep to finish beforehand, in order. Times below are Korea time (KST).
There are two places to buy
- Nike's official online store (nike.com/kr): regular shoes and apparel. If it's in stock, you can add it to your cart and buy anytime.
- SNKRS (nike.com/kr/launch and the SNKRS app): limited and collaboration releases. Each has a set date and time and is sold by Draw or Line depending on the product.
If you're after a limited release, watch SNKRS. Even when the regular store carries a model with the same name, limited colorways often drop only on SNKRS.
SNKRS release time: mostly 10 a.m.
Each SNKRS product page shows a date and time such as "10. 20. 10:00 AM release". On recent product pages, the time is always 10 a.m.
| Product | Release (KST) |
|---|---|
| Air Jordan 5 "Halloween" | Oct 17, 10:00 |
| Air Max 90 SP 'Black' | Oct 20, 10:00 |
| Air Force 1 '01 x Nigo x j-hope | Oct 22, 10:00 |
SNKRS publishes each week's lineup in advance as "UPCOMING IN SNKRS", and the Upcoming tab in the app and on the web lists releases by date. Turn on notifications for products you want so you don't miss them.
Draw vs. Line
According to Nike Korea's SNKRS guide (SNKRS 101), limited releases are sold in two main ways.
Draw (raffle)
- Pick your size and enter within the set entry window. When it closes, winners are drawn at random.
- You enter your payment details with your entry, and you're charged automatically if you win. If you don't, no order is created and nothing is charged.
- Results arrive by text message and a pop-up on the product page. You must agree to receive marketing messages to get your result.
Line (queue)
- On release day, pick a size, join the line, enter shipping and payment details and submit the order.
- After a short wait, a pop-up on the product page tells you whether you got it. Don't close the browser tab until the result appears.
- If you succeed, you're charged automatically; if not, you aren't charged.
A Draw is not a race to the second. Anyone who enters within the window has the same raffle, so picking the wrong size in a rush costs you more. Lines and leftover stock right after release are different: there, getting in right at 10:00 helps.
Finish this by the day before
- A verified member account: sign in as a Nike member and complete identity verification. Korean verification may need a Korean phone number, so foreign residents should check early.
- Saved card and address: per SNKRS 101, you must save a payment card and shipping address in your profile to join a Draw or Line, and only card payment is accepted.
- Billing address = shipping address: a saved card only works when the two match. This is a common reason checkout fails.
- Marketing consent: needed to receive Draw results.
- Know your size: fit differs by model even within one brand. Try a pair in store, or go by the size you wear in the same line.
Hitting 10:00 exactly
For Lines and buying right after release, a few seconds decide the outcome. What counts is Nike's server clock, not your phone's. Device clocks are often off by hundreds of milliseconds; see Why server time beats your clock.
- Enter
www.nike.comin the site address box on Chochim to see how far Nike's server clock is ahead of or behind your device. If it can't be measured or the error is large because of security settings, treat it as a rough guide only. - Around 9:55, check you're still signed in and keep just one product page open.
- Click about 0.1–0.3 seconds after 10:00 on the server clock, so you don't hit "not open yet" and have to click again.
When do regular new arrivals and restocks appear?
Nike's customer service says it does not announce arrival or restock dates. Stock is reflected online as soon as it's confirmed, so the only way is to check often.
SNKRS products with stock left after release can be bought straight from the In Stock tab. Unpaid quantities sometimes come back after Draw results, so if you lost, check once on release day and once the next day.
Don't do this
- Bots and multiple accounts: automated buying tools or extra accounts can breach the store's terms, and orders may be cancelled.
- "Proxy entry" or "guaranteed win" deals: many take your money and disappear. If you buy resale, the checks in Ticket resale scams and how to avoid them apply to sneakers too.
