2026 KBO playoff tickets: schedule, where to buy and box office rules
This guide reflects information as of October 19, 2026. Postseason dates and booking times can change with game results and weather. Always check the KBO and NOL Ticket notices again right before you book.
Korea's fall baseball is in full swing. Regular-season champion kt wiz went straight to the Korean Series, and runner-up Samsung Lions are waiting in the playoffs. Unlike the regular season, postseason tickets are sold entirely in advance online, and most seats are gone within minutes of opening. That's why it pays to know where to buy and the rules ahead of time.
2026 postseason teams and schedule
The regular-season standings were 1st kt wiz, 2nd Samsung Lions, 3rd KIA Tigers, 4th LG Twins and 5th Doosan Bears. kt clinched the regular-season title on October 5.
| Series | Starts | Format | Matchup |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wild card | Oct 14 | Up to 2 games | 4th-place LG started with a 1-win edge; 5th-place Doosan needed two straight wins. LG advanced to the semi-playoff |
| Semi-playoff | Oct 17 | Best of 5 | 3rd-place KIA vs LG. KIA led 2–0 as of Oct 18 (Game 3 on Oct 20 at Jamsil) |
| Playoff | Oct 25 | Best of 5 | 2nd-place Samsung vs the semi-playoff winner, opening at Samsung's home, Daegu Samsung Lions Park |
| Korean Series | Nov 2 | Best of 7 | 1st-place kt vs the playoff winner. kt hosts Games 1, 2, 6 and 7; the opponent hosts Games 3, 4 and 5 |
There is at least one travel day between series. If rain stops a game, it moves to the next day, which can push back the rest of the schedule.
One seller: NOL Ticket
2026 postseason tickets are sold exclusively by NOL (Yanolja) Ticket, the former Interpark Ticket under its new NOL brand. You can book three ways:
- The NOL Ticket website
- The NOL app
- The NOL Ticket customer center by phone (1544-1555)
Team websites and other ticketing sites don't sell them. Posts on social media or resale apps advertising "postseason tickets for sale" are not official sellers.
When do sales open?
The booking schedule for the playoffs and Korean Series is announced after the previous series ends. As of October 19, when this was written, it had not been announced. For reference, this fall's sales opened as follows:
| Series | Sales opened | First game |
|---|---|---|
| Wild card | Oct 13, 2 p.m. | Oct 14 (opened one day before) |
| Semi-playoff | Oct 15, 2 p.m. | Oct 17 (opened two days before) |
Both opened at 2 p.m., one to two days before the first game. The playoffs will likely follow a similar pattern, but confirm the exact time in the notice. Sometimes sales open at different times for each game, so check the opening time for the game you want.
Sales rules you need to know
Up to four tickets per person
One person can buy up to four tickets per game. If your group is five or more, at least two people need to book separately.
All sold in advance; returns sold at the stadium two hours before
Postseason tickets are sold entirely in advance. Any seats freed up by cancellations are sold at that stadium's box office from two hours before the first pitch on game day. It's your last chance if online booking failed. You can't know how many returns there will be, so arriving early to line up helps.
Box office sales for people who can't book online
On game day the box office sells separately to the people below, one ticket per person, with proof of identity required.
- Aged 65 or over (born before January 1, 1962), with ID
- People with disabilities, with a disability registration card or welfare card
- Foreigners, with a passport
If you're a foreign visitor or resident who finds Korean booking sites hard to use, this box office option is worth knowing.
What to do before booking
- Sign up for NOL and check your login: accounts unused for a while may require re-verification. Log in on both the app and the web in advance.
- Register a payment method: set up quick-pay beforehand to save time at the payment step after picking seats.
- Decide seat priorities: check the stadium seat map and choose first and second choice sections. Layouts differ between stadiums such as Daegu Samsung Lions Park and Suwon kt wiz Park.
- Check server time: sales open by NOL Ticket's server clock. See the gap with your clock on Chochim's NOL / Interpark Ticket server time page and click 0.1–0.3 seconds after the hour.
If a queue appears when sales open, don't refresh; just wait, or you may lose your place. If you're after the Korean Series, read Getting Korean Series tickets too.
